It's not like the way you are thinking man! It's different!
It's just the same as any other marriage! What makes it special is that it's a boy: boy and a girl: girl marriage, which you formally refer to as Same-sex marriage!
No relationship is officially successful without marriage! A gay or a lesbian or a trans male or trans female may get attracted to a boy or a girl and venture into a relationship with them and now if both the partners wish to marry each other, isn't it a normal human right for them?
The Netherlands on 1st of April, 2001 became the first country to acknowledge it, followed by Belgium after 2 years. While countries like, Nepal, India and all the Islamic states are in strong opposition to it.
Churches held their scriptures tightly like roots for ages and tried proving same-sex marriages are against the laws of nature. The pre-dominant conservatism in the world restricts the inflow of such modern thoughts!

The conversion of a same-sex relationship into a same-sex marriage is simply next to impossible, especially in a country like India, where the future of a straight couple's relationship is predicted on the basis of horoscopes, caste, religion etc! In such a society same-sex relationship and marriage is simply the path of the painful hell. A same-sex couple is nothing less than a curse for the whole society, the society which acknowledged homosexuality but didn't give a bit interest to legalise same-sex marriage! And for the family members, the same-sex couples are just a source of humiliation from the neighbours, friends and relatives. But every time it's not the same case. In India as well as around the world there are several families who happily welcomed it!
The couples who performed the same-sex marriage fighting against all odds act as the biggest source of motivation and inspiration for people of their own kind. Same-sex marriages have increased the rate of adoption of a large number of orphans throughout the world, thus providing the essence of family to a large number of helpless children. Same-sex relationships are often found to be more stronger and long-lasting than normal relationships. Thus, a gradual decrease in the rate of divorce cases throughout the world is observed.

It's a good sign that since the last one or two generations people have started sharing more and more views on this topic. But being nurtured in a pre-dominant conservative culture, even though we surf out through innumerable websites to watch lesbian and gay sex, but on real and firm grounds we tend to experience resistance of homophobia in heart to fully accept it!
A good blog must talk about the cons too.....Isn't it?
The healthy growth of a child depends on both the roles of a father and a mother. But parenting by same-sexual parents might affect the overall development of the children to quite an extent. Unintentional comparing between the homo-sexual and hetero-sexual parents can lead to several psychological problems like facing bullies, depression, anxiety etc among the children. The cause of not getting a natural heir to the family is also a matter of concern for families with homosexual members. Moreover, psychologists have claimed that the basis of homosexual marriages are pleasures and intimate drives. Once it ends, homosexual couples tend to find new partners and get separated.

Why not Solutions......
Some steps that can be taken is that, the children of homosexual couples must be regularly counselled for ensuring their better psychological stability and protection against the social stigmas! People must speak more about this topic to their children to avoid the homophobia building within them and to gain the correct knowledge about it.
As a whole, ITS requests the world community to come forward for the betterment of the LGBTQ community and provide them with the equal laws and rights by bringing them to the mainstream of society.
